Dr. P, that's an excellent suggestion -- a game calendar. I won't steal your idea, but you should go put that up in Sardelac and claim the plaudits. I'll /sign that one for sure.

Let me clarify: depending upon where you live in the world, the 22nd, the 23rd, the 24th and the 25th of april might be holidays.

They asked us years ago if we wanted one. The consensus in the poll overwhelmingly supported advance notice, but they never said anything else about it.
Presumably, adding one would cause some casual players to only play during certain weekend (or other) events.

There's always something to complain about. They don't have to do it you know... but it's obviously easter this weekend.

I think the real confusion over the past couple of weeks has been whether they would combine the sweet treat and anniversary events or hold them separately and if so, when. People thought maybe sweet treats would have been pushed forward to last weekend and anniversary stuff done this weekend. When it wasn't, people wondered if both would be dropping this weekend and the delay in announcement from ANet frustrated people. I'll admit I took it as kinda written that Easter drops would be this weekend, but I don't think anyone really knew when the others would be and ANet did leave us hanging for longer than they normally do with the announcement for it.
I think that's the most diplomatic I can be about it.

Life, a bunch of posts got deleted from this thread from people saying stuff similar to what you did, then people taking the troll bait.
People here are politely giving constructive criticism on how to get more from the weekend events and keeping the lines of communication between customers and Anet open.
Noone is bitching, moaning, etc.

Kids today, it's all about me, me, me. The easter treats are a bonus (you'd cry more if they didn't happen), maybe you should be saying thanks and not dissing the game for a late message
